A collaborative project between Lakeshore Collegiate Institute, Lakeshore Arts, Eventscape, STEPS Initiative, and archiTEXT.
- The Lakeshore Collegiate Cyber Arts Design/Build was a collaborative project between Lakeshore Collegiate, the STEPS initiative, Eventscape, and various Toronto designers and architects. Over a two week period, the group mentored the Grade 11/12 Cyber Arts students through the process of designing a sculpture for the LCI campus. The students explored site and context, and the archiTEXT team worked with the students to understand the design thinking, design process, and managed the design process itself.
The sculpture will be built and installed by Eventscape on the LCI campus in 2012.
