A space culture analysis with Schools Without Borders and Manifesto.

  • In September 2010, SWB commissioned archiTEXT to conduct a feasibility report that would help them to establish the best possible working space for their organization. Four components made up this research. First, a usage and collaborative workspace analysis was conducted with all members of the SWB space. Second, extensive research was done into healthy, productive and sustainable workplace options. Third, we conducted consultation with the general tenants of the space. Finally, we hosted a design charrette with SWB members to determine how they would like to best utilize the space. This design charrette became the vehicle of conversation between the SWB members and helped them formulate their design to stay in the space in a reorganized manner.
