Maximum City.
- Maximum City is a research project developed by University of Toronto School faculty member Josh Fullan that partners teachers with local experts and professionals in the fields of architecture, urban design, and civic sustainability in order todevelop a series of curricula and creative hands-on learning activities formiddle and high school students. The curriculum was delivered to a small group of students as a pilot program at the University of Toronto Schools during the week of August 22-26, 2011.
The archiTEXT team engaged the students in the Built City module to learn the fundamentals of architecture and design, key terminology, understanding design in context, recognizing key elements of design and architecture in the surrounding neighbourhood, and the history of important movements.
